What do you want from life? What are your dreams?
“Think about it. Stop reading. Ponder it. Write your answers down. Make a list.”
During my divorce I dove headfirst into the books of the Catholic author Matthew Kelly. I clung to the words on the pages of his books, looking for hope. And I’d find over and over again.
His books breathed life back into my broken heart, renewed my weary soul, and gave me hope.
But the most transformational book I reay was titled The RHYTHM of LIFE; Living Every Day with Passion and Purpose.
It set me on a journey to finding myself, finding love, and living out my dreams.
For the last 4 years I had been on a hunt for this book. I knew it existed, but couldn’t remember the name of it. Something inspired me to pull this one off of the bookshelf. And right there in the 2nd chapter I found the words I had been searching for. I found the book that forever changed my life.
I made a list. Right in the middle of my pain and brokenness I made the list. I allowed myself to dream. I wrote down all of my heart’s desires.
And over the next two years I met a man, fell in love, and marked almost EVERY SINGLE thing off of my list.
All because I allowed myself to dream. I opened my heart and mind to possibilities.
So, what do you want form life? What are your dreams?
Think about it. Stop reading. Write your answers down. Make a list.

Monica
